Welcome to PailotX! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PailotX website (pailotx.com), mobile applications, and on-demand car booking and driver services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing, registering, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility & User Accounts

To use PailotX, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction). When creating an account, you agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information and maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities occurring under your account.

2. Booking Services & Platform Role

PailotX provides a digital platform connecting passengers ("Riders") with independent transportation providers and professional drivers ("Drivers") or vehicle rental partners. While PailotX verifies driver background checks and vehicle standards, transportation services are performed directly between the Rider and Driver.

3. Fares, Payments & Pricing

Fares are computed based on distance, duration, vehicle type, and current demand (base fare + distance rate + applicable taxes/tolls). An upfront fare estimate is provided prior to confirming your ride. By requesting a ride, you authorize PailotX to charge the total trip amount to your designated payment method.

• Best Price Guarantee: We strive to offer the most competitive fares without hidden surcharges.
• Tolls & Surcharges: Any road tolls or municipal fees incurred during your ride will be added to the final invoice.
• Tips: Gratuities are voluntary and 100% passed to the driver.

4. Cancellations & Refund Policy

You may cancel a ride booking via the app. However, cancellation fees may apply if a booking is cancelled after a driver has already accepted and dispatched towards your pick-up location, or in the case of a rider no-show. Refunds for disputed trips or overcharges will be evaluated by our support team upon review.

5. Code of Conduct & Safety

We are committed to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for everyone.

• Both riders and drivers must treat each other with dignity, mutual courtesy, and respect.
• Harassment, discrimination, abusive language, or reckless behavior will result in immediate and permanent account suspension.
• Riders are expected to maintain vehicle cleanliness and refrain from causing damage to vehicles.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PailotX shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages—including lost profits, data loss, personal injury, or property damage—arising out of or in connection with the use of the platform or services.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, service marks, designs, and content displayed on the PailotX website and application are the exclusive property of PailotX. Unauthorized copying, modification, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
